this game has it all ; dungeon crawling, strategic battles, labrynths, trading, exploring, Tons of different abilities, multiple storylines with different goals and objectives, an amazing quest system with lots of quests, awesome retro/pixel graphics, two different game modes: quick game and the normal story mode, six different characters, and gamecenter achievements! If you are on the fence about buying this game dont hesitate to buy it. this game isnt glitchy or buggy, and for two dollars its a steal!

Love it my kind of game

A few questionable design choices and interface issues hold this game back from five stars, but its definitely worth the price of admission. Its a rather addicting, refreshingly retro dungeon crawler that is a little deeper than it looks. If you like 90s CRPGs, this is a fun little treat for you.

Im really, REALLY enjoying this game. I cant put it down. I love dungeon crawlers more than any other type of RPG and this does the trick. I would prefer to play this on my iPad, but the graphics are too pixellated for that. Dont get me wrong - I love the pixellated look - but instead of a slightly higher resolution for the iPad, the pixels are just blown up - and I havent been able to get it to reduce to iPhone size on the iPad screen. Thats not enough to take away any stars, though - I still give this one five stars because its a very engrossing, detailed, well-planned and thought out game. Now, Im going back to it for a little while. Very, very hard to put down.

This is easily my favorite game on the AppStore and Ive played many games. Cant wait for more content.

But... You have to make it so that you can worship the shrines so you dont spawn back at the start. Or please put a tutorial that explains how to do all of that. Other wise very very fun gameplay and story.

I made it all the way to the wastelands right before the volcano and saved and now it wont load that file. It will let me load any other file and do quick play but it wont let me load my best file when I was so close to beating the game.

This game is great. Its exactly what I was looking for. A fun, dungeon crawler RPG like game similar to Legend of Grimrock. Glad I bought this and cannot wait for the second installment! Take my money, guys!

This game is great. Easy to play (appreciate the portrait mode and ability to play with thumb). Great dungeon crawler that will take you back in time, but it doesn’t feel dated. Ideal to play while in bed, or relaxing on the couch. Perfect RPG gaming for a phone. This is how you do it!

Really good game, has an old school might & magic feel. A pretty bad bug makes this game unplayable though, no matter how many shrines I visit every time I die I always have to start at the very first one in the first town.

Its an instant classic! Fun, pixelated, humorous! Im loving it! I only wish there was a rest option that refilled hp/mp in an instant if no monsters are around.

It reminds me alot of skyrim. Speaking of skyrim, can u make a game that has something to do with that??? :)

QuestLord is in my opinion one of the sickest RPGs for iOS. It has everything: loot, races (human, elf, & dwarf), a huge map, neat story, and sidequests. But there is a twist to that since the main story is based on side quests. I think this game was supposed to be a tribute to older RPGs but all I know is that its crazy fun. First of all, each race you choose starts your adventure somewhere else, which is a really nice touch because starting a new game feels different. The controls are really easy to get used to but it could use a tutorial as I did not know how to fight in my first battle. Visuals are pretty cool and old-like but they gave me motion sickness the first time I tried the game. Overall QuestLord is great and worth every penny as the game is really cool and hard and will keep you entertained for hours and hours. The only thing QuestLord is lacking is a good app icon. The current one looks kind of ugly as its just a dungeon corridor. So im going to have to give it four stars on that one. :/ anywho, questlord FTW!!

This game is a fantastic old-school dungeon crawler. It does retro graphics right, its atmospheric, nostalgic, smooth, and fun... right up until the end. The final stretch of the game is nothing but a chore, and after playing the rest of it straight through, I actually walked away for weeks before coming back to finish it. After completing a worldwide scavenger hunt, you fight a series of demons that may or may not hit you for half your health or more (even with shield/armor) every time, depending on nothing but dumb luck. Its not fun, and it takes away a star from what is otherwise a near-perfect game. This game is still very much worth your time if you enjoy The Quest, Wizardry, Might & Magic, Elder Scrolls, and the like.
