QuestLord App revisa

Good

It needs a questtracker like how many more enemy You need to kill .

Outstanding Might & Magic-style RPG!

I have played and beaten this game with every character and LOVED every minute of it. Thrilled to have it back so I cando it again! This is one of my favorite games for the iPhone. Graphics are wonderfully pixellated - I am old school so I strongly prefer pixels - and characters in story are great. Gameplay, menus, maps - all just perfect to me. Story is engaging. Well done all around! Update 10/26/24: Playing it again, just updated it. It’s awesome. Loving it again

Fun

Wish the navigation was more straight through.

Problem

Looks fun, but will not load. After I select my character, I get the little intro and then the game freezes on a floppy disk icon and never starts. It does this on my phone and iPad

Still have hope

Still have hope for the sequel. 🙏

Still love this game

In anticipation of QL2, I dusted this off and played again. Still as awesome as it was the first time.

Pocket sized goodness

Beautiful graphics, great old school first person rpg gameplay, and amazing for quick sessions throughout the day. I CANNOT wait for the sequel!

No longer launches.

The game’s broken since the 64-bit update and never actually starts.

Update broke it

This used to be a great game and probably still is if it works on your device. The latest update broke mine. Now I get as far as the loading screen when I start a new game and there it stays.

QUESTLORD 2 where are you?

Nice little game. I understood the studio in which it was produced has lost they dumbfounded. Gobsmacked lease. Due to the Landlord ‘s greed. Not sure who owns it now, but if he needs rent money I know a stupendously schtuiupid odd couple on the West side looking for a renter till the end of the year. After that, he’s sol [sunshine’s outa luck]. Nice 4 bedroom, could be five, with some hammering skills. Or even nun chucking skills or painting skills. Pets welcome. No horses, pigs, cows or chickens though. (Current owner has one old 18 year old Feline and one energetic little Guard Dawg) one small baby, no rowdy teenage boys welcome. Has fence, cement pond. Burial grounds under fountain in back and on side with marker saying Cat Crossing. Two beds upstairs with elevator (inside) Jack & Jill with en-suite. Can be wired for separate computer and phone expensive, many trees, mainly Texas Hill Country Oak, one ancient old fruit tree (fig). Current owner thinking about either chopping it down or letting it fruit one more season. Either that or making a cute little bikini out of the leaves for her burial suit. Loud headbanging heavy metal music most welcome ( when crotchety old man is outa earsight. ). Old man is very left brained. Read accountant. Always wanted to be an Art Major but couldn’t quite hack the cartooning). But is fairly good at

It’s back!

Wasn’t expecting to be able to play this again, I remember reading about the sequel to this game ages ago. Hope you’re doing alright. Thanks for bringing it back

Saved game not loading

After a few days of playing, my saved game is no longer loading. Please help!

Lazy Dev

You have to quit the game to exit menus. Doesn't work on my iPod running iOS 9.32, but works on my iPad Pro running iOS 9.32. Game is okay at best...

So happy

So happy that the game is back again i have been waiting for so long to see it back again also i can’t wait for questlord 2

Loved it so much I kept a spare iPhone!

Back when this game was only 32-bit, I kept it installed on an older iPhone and iPod Touch, refusing to update because I loved this game so much! Best old-school RPG on iOS handsdown!

Update!

I really really enjoy this game, however it will not load passed the second screen after choosing which character and name you want! This is the iOS version.

Update the game I wanted a throwback and can’t have it

Read the title

Pls

Pls iPhone X I needs it.

Breath of fresh air

Fantastic! It doesn't hold your hand with an hour long tutorial,no wait ten minutes to charge your "play energy" to stop you from having fun, or any other Mobile game nonsense. Has just the right amount of stats and difficulty to be challenging and actually make you use your brain, without being annoying or unfair. Saves your place when exiting the app so you can do a few minutes of adventuring at a time or an hour. It's an old school action RPG that can be enjoyed by old fans and new alike and you should definitely give it a shot if all those other micro transactions filled greedy mobile games has started to bug you, like they have done to me.

Fun, but needs an update.

This was a fun game that really scratched that old school CRPG itch that wasn't too complex and easy to pop into and play. That said, at the time of this writing, the game is no longer playable since the iOS 11 update. I really want to keep playing, but right now I can’t on this platform.

Please update!

I love this game! Problem is I can’t play it anymore because it’s not compatible with iOS 11. Please update this, especially since I paid money for it.

Sam

Y’all should update it to make it compatible with ios11

Please Update

Please update for ios11 I love this game too much to see it go to waste

Update

Dear developer, PLEASE UPDATE!!!

Update for iOS 11

Loved it till I wasn’t able to play anymore :(

If I could give it 10 stars I would!

As a longtime D&D gamer and old devotee of Morraff's World, I've been looking for a game like this for ages. How did I not find this one sooner?!? I love the old school graphics and wonderfully simple interface. I love getting lost in the maps and having to draw things out. I love feeling like I'm 20 years younger. I played this game all day today. All. Day. I haven't played a video game all day in years. If you love old school dungeon crawlers, do NOT pass this one by. You won't regret buying it, not one bit.

Great game.

I really like this game. And I'm excited for the second one to come out.

Addictive fun game

I really enjoy this game. Reminds me of D&D. Simple to learn and play. One of the really fun things is choosing a different race starts the game in a different place in the game, so the game can be replayed in many different ways. I played the game through the first time, since then a glitch has developed so I can't teleport with the blue ball, so I can't complete the game. Even when I remove the game from my phone and reinstall the same glitch is there. How about an update!

Load File Glitch

I love this app, the game is addictive, the characters and storyline are interesting, the control system is easy to use and the style is fun, but after putting 8 or so hours into it I can't load my save file. I've seen several other reviews with the same issue. I can get to the "load file" screen and choose my save file, but then it gets stuck at "loading file". I doubt the creator is still working on this app, but if they are and if they see this, please help! We all love this game and want to be able to finish it.

Fun and nice pixel art

I just started playing it but this game is fun and has a nice graphic style. Worth the 2 bucks.

Best Retro RPG I've played on iOS

This game has occupied me for weeks, exploring the nooks and crannies of the game world. There are three different races with different starting places and strengths for added replay value. Certain important things like "save points" (i.e. statues) are not obvious how to use. And other items are hidden well. But if you are comfortable using the map a lot and backtracking there is no more fun and challenging game.

Good Dungeon Crawler

Anyone who played the old might & magic or eye of the beholder would love this game.

SOO worth it!!!

I have WAY too many games on my phone. I took the time to try this one, AND NEVER OUT IT DOWN til I finished it, several days later. Been waiting on a sequel or a new story from this developer ever since. Hint Hint

Good game

Good oldschool rpg with new style controls and interface. Beat the game, really enjoyed myself. Worth more than the asking price, although I think that the current asking price will make more sales. Simple to understand, but not so simple it takes the challenge out. If you like oldschool first person rpg dungeon crawlers with an enjoyable story, then buy it. Should be on apple's editor's choice list (although some of the games I've seen on that list lately look like they were placed there as the result of a bribe or something, so maybe this is best left off that list because it is actually a good game--we wouldn't want to scare any potential fans away by having it on that stupid list). The only downside to the game is it feels a little too short. But for 99 cents, it is perfect.

Dwarf, elf ok

Human starter map has a bug. Otherwise fun game

Well worth it.

Good game. Well worth the price and will occupy your time well. Only thing I wish it had is just slightly sharper images. I'm all for retro, but "sprites" are just a tad too blurry.

Sequel - Ready

It has proven itself worthy

Great game

Awesome game! One of my faves it actually helped inspired my game Adventure to fate. Super pumped for the sequel it can't come soon enough!

Amazing but accessible

A truly unique game: a hardcore dungeon crawler that's totally not hardcore at all. An incredible sense of exploration and triumph, that's really easy to pick up and play.

Alright but boring

The game itself is kinda boring for me, I appreciate that a lot of other people enjoy it but it's a bit too slow and clunky to be of much entertainment value. I found myself kinda mindlessly walking in circles at a few points and just lost interest when I got to one point I couldn't beat. It may be ok for some but I'm not really that impressed.

Good

A retro dungeon crawler that will keep you busy for hours. Pros -diversity of characters and weapons - will keep you busy for a long time - lots of locations to explore Cons - blowed up pixilated graphics - beginners may find it hard to play if new to old rpg's The verdict : considering how cheap the price is its defiantly worth the purchase. A good time killer if you're waiting for food at the diner or just traveling with family. Replay-ability is where it's at despite the simplistic combat features.

One of the best rpg dungeon crawlers!

Simply? I love this game!

Turn based goodness for cheap

I really enjoyed this game, was a very well spent 2$ probably would of paid more for the great design this game was, obviously has some room for improvement, such as day and night transitions and feel like it's missing some features and perhaps include more side quests but this games structure of a turn based rogue rpg is clean and was entertaining. Also expect to use the map quite a bit. I find it a bit confusing sometimes to find my way around but that's the fun of finding your way through each dungeon.

NEEDS UPDATE

When I die I return the the statue in the first town please get a update out as soon as possible

Awesome until the final stretch

This game is a fantastic old-school dungeon crawler. It does retro graphics right, it's atmospheric, nostalgic, smooth, and fun... right up until the end. The final stretch of the game is nothing but a chore, and after playing the rest of it straight through, I actually walked away for weeks before coming back to finish it. After completing a worldwide scavenger hunt, you fight a series of demons that may or may not hit you for half your health or more (even with shield/armor) every time, depending on nothing but dumb luck. It's not fun, and it takes away a star from what is otherwise a near-perfect game. This game is still very much worth your time if you enjoy The Quest, Wizardry, Might & Magic, Elder Scrolls, and the like.

Woah!

QuestLord is in my opinion one of the sickest RPGs for iOS. It has everything: loot, races (human, elf, & dwarf), a huge map, neat story, and sidequests. But there is a twist to that since the main story is based on side quests. I think this game was supposed to be a tribute to older RPGs but all I know is that its crazy fun. First of all, each race you choose starts your adventure somewhere else, which is a really nice touch because starting a new game feels different. The controls are really easy to get used to but it could use a tutorial as I did not know how to fight in my first battle. Visuals are pretty cool and old-like but they gave me motion sickness the first time I tried the game. Overall QuestLord is great and worth every penny as the game is really cool and hard and will keep you entertained for hours and hours. The only thing QuestLord is lacking is a good app icon. The current one looks kind of ugly as its just a dungeon corridor. So im going to have to give it four stars on that one. :/ anywho, questlord FTW!!

Lovely Game!

It's an instant classic! Fun, pixelated, humorous! I'm loving it! I only wish there was a rest option that refilled hp/mp in an instant if no monsters are around.

Good game but terrible bug

Really good game, has an old school might & magic feel. A pretty bad bug makes this game unplayable though, no matter how many shrines I visit every time I die I always have to start at the very first one in the first town.

Amazing game.

This game is great. Easy to play (appreciate the portrait mode and ability to play with thumb). Great dungeon crawler that will take you back in time, but it doesn’t feel dated. Ideal to play while in bed, or relaxing on the couch. Perfect RPG gaming for a phone. This is how you do it!
